This article outlines the process for changing UQAF details on the Moderation Portal, Paradigm, Moodle and other related systems. 


TCSI reportable changes to a unit are not permitted after Census Date, these include: Dates (Start Date, End Date, Census Date), Unit Code, Mode of Delivery, Scheduled Unit Provider). If a mistake has been made, please contact Academic Services.

This article will be gradually updated with various scenarios.

Change in Mode Of Delivery


a) If the Mode of Delivery changes, e.g. from 'on campus' to 'off campus'.

 

Note: this doesn't need moderator approval, but involves manual steps in systems

Scenarios:
  1. Scheduled Unit has no unit enrolments: change the mode of delivery and click save.
  2. Scheduled Unit has unit enrolments: TCSI delete all unit enrolments, change the mode of delivery, re-enrol all students. This will re-trigger the TCSI report with the correct data.
 

b) If a new Mode of Delivery is added, e.g. 'on campus' to 'on campus & off campus'

  1. Add new SUID to Moodle course idnumber (append with / or _)
  2. Add new SUID to Moodle Group idnumber ((ppend with / or _), choose unique enrolment key (e.g. Nt001_<SUID>)
  3. Add new Scheduled Assessment IDs to Assessment Grade Categories in the Moodle Gradebook.

Add the new unit to the form so students can select it when 
 

Changes to Assessment Methods - change in number of assessments, weightings, name/type of the assessments.

If the assessment tasks changes but the number of assessment, the assessment name and the weighting stays the same, then there is no need for steps 4 and 5 to change the Scheduled Assessment on Paradigm or Moderation Portal as the tasks are not recorded, just the name and weighting.
