If the affiliated college is on a Higher Education Award, the academic staff is employed as indicated in the link here, under the section: Schedule A—Minimum Standards for Academic Levels (MSAL).
If the affiliated college is on an Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020, the academic staff is employed as indicated in the link here, under the section: Schedule A—Classifications—Academic Teachers A.7.1 - A.7.3.
Once you have determined the level of the academic staff, you can then refer to the TCSI Mapping table for PIR staff collection | TCSI Support to determine the Employment Category (Senior level/Middle level or Junior level academic).
