If the same assessments are taken by students enrolled in different Scheduled Units on Paradigm (e.g. NT001-812 and NT001-812DSC), the assessment categories can be manually combined to remove the need for separate assessment activities (e.g. Turnitin).
The steps below demonstrate how to combine the grade categories. The Scheduled Assessment IDs for the NT001-812DSC assessments will need to be copied across to the assessment grade categories of the regular NT001-812 unit.
1) Find the DSC Scheduled Unit on Paradigm and a) click on the edit button of each assessment item, b) copy the Scheduled Assessment ID from the URL.
2) Edit the grade category of assessment item of the NT001-812 unit (destination) and paste the Scheduled Assessment ID into the ID number field, separated by an underscore ('_') and click on 'save changes'.
Repeat this process for all assessment items.
Once verified that all IDs are transferred, the grade categories that are no longer needed, can be deleted.
