Form Search:
The Form module acts as a repository of all the forms submitted by the college over the period. You can either enter the Reference Name of the form or filter the forms using the Form type to navigate to the desired form. You can also use the same functionality to search a form you started but could not complete.
Creating a new form:
There are two ways to create a form:
(I) A form can be accessed via the URL linked to the task in the Reference Form section.
(ii) Another method of creating a form is by going into the Form module and clicking on the tab “Create New Form”. Kindly note that this is only accessible to Tickit users. When you click on the “Create new form” tab it will open a new page with the drop-down option of all available forms as shown below. You can choose the type of form from this list to complete.
Non-Tickit users must complete the form from the URL passed down to them by the Tickit users
Completing and submitting the form:
Once you have finished the form click on the “Submit” tab. If you want to save the form and resume completion, click the “Save Draft” option.
Tickit Users:
Tickit users can save the draft by clicking the “Save draft” tab. This will take you to the next page with the Reference number. Please keep a note of this number and you can search this draft in the Forms module and retrieve the form for completion.
Non-Tickit users:
For users who access the forms via URL, the draft option is still available.
After clicking on the “Save Draft” button it will take you to a new page with a URL link which you can save to retrieve the form or if you enter your email address Tickit will send you the link to reopen your draft (the recommended option being the latter).
Exporting the form to PDF:
Tickit users:
There are tasks on Tickit that require a form to be attached as evidence (See Table 1). For this purpose, it is important to export the form as PDF. The option to export to PDF will appear after submitting the form. The PDF will be automatically downloaded to your system. After exporting the form, you can send the form for review.
Non-Tickit users:
For users using the URL, the option of the PDF will be available. After the form has been submitted click on the Tab “No Thanks, finished” you can see the option to “Export as Draft”
